NDT also called non-destructive examination (NDE) and non-destructive inspection (NDI), is a testing method that does not destroy the test object. NDT is vital for constructing and maintaining all types of components and structures. Accreditations
SGS is in possession of the SCC** (Safety Certificate Contractors) for work in chemical and petrochemical plants and is qualified according to KTA 1401 for operation in nuclear facilities. SGS mechanical test laboratories are accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 and as inspection body TYPE A according to DIN EN 45004.
Sharing Knowledge
SGS offers relevant NDT Training Courses and provides workshops (at your company location, if requested). Experienced instructors share knowledge that complies with guidelines and local and international NDT / NDE standards, such as SNT TC1A and EN 473.
